[Important Notice] LightCDN Platform Migration Plan!!!

Dear LightCDN Users,

We are writing to inform you about a significant decision at LightCDN that differs from our usual version updates. This time, we have decided to migrate to a new client platform.

We would like to express our gratitude for your support over the past year, and for the valuable feedback we’ve received from many of our clients. A major limitation we have faced is our platform's support for only static content acceleration. We fully recognize this issue and have been working hard to address it.
In this release, we have made extensive changes to both the functionality and network layers. After careful consideration, we have determined that migrating to a new client platform is the best solution to facilitate the future expansion of LightCDN's capabilities. It is also the approach with the least impact on your existing services. The most exciting part of this update is that, following the release of the new platform, we will first open up WebSocket and Request concurrency limits, with no changes to pricing.

Migration Plan

2025.02.10 Migration Begins
The new platform at https://console.lightcdn.com will go live. You can begin migrating your resources at your convenience. We will assist you in easily recreating your existing resources and transferring your balance (the 500GB of core network traffic will be reset, whether fully used or not; we encourage trial users to migrate as well). Migrating a single resource will only take a few seconds and requires only DNS reconfiguration, minimizing any potential impact on your business.
The old platform at https://client.lightcdn.com will stop allowing new purchases and resource creation. However, your existing resources will remain operational and unaffected until you complete the migration to the new platform.

2025.02.26 Migration Ends
The old platform will be decommissioned, meaning any resources on the old platform will stop accelerating. If you have not migrated by this date, your services will be interrupted.

Please make sure to mark these two key dates in your calendar. If there are any adjustments to the timeline or additional migration details, we will notify you separately.
We understand that change can be challenging, but we want to assure you that LightCDN remains committed to delivering high-quality products and services.
